Wilkommen! Thank you for visiting! I love fantasies and fairy tales. At the same time, I enjoy watching soccer and F1. I can be girlish and tomboyish depending on my mood. Just read my blog if you want to know more but if not click here to ciao.

Brazillians Encounter
Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Monday, 28 July 2008.

I went to watch the friendly soccer match between Brazil U-23 Olympic team vs Singapore selection. The match took place at 8 pm in the Singapore National Stadium and cost about S$60 each person.

OMG!!! I described this match as "the unforgettable one". I mean I saw some famous footballers of the world playing in front of me, how can I not be amazed?! They are not like just international players but they have proven that they have the special talents and skills in the world of football. There is Alexandre "Pato", Anderson, Ronaldinho, Diego, Lucas Reifa, etc. They are the players that many clubs would like to include in their teams to have a complete formation, can you see how important they are?!

So, on that day, I went to the stadium at about 5 pm in order to get a good seat (the ticket said that it was free seating, you see.). I arrived there and soon after that, an entrance queue line starts to form. It only took a while for the queue line to get very long. At about 5.30 or so, we are allowed to get in. I immediately choose the seat at the centre side line of the field, pretty close to the half point mark on the field (a strategic place! yay!;)). We waited and waited until about 7 pm, then the footballers starts to arrive at the stadium. At about 7.30, they went down to the soccer pitch to have their warm-ups and a little training before the match (Note: I get to see the FAMOUS PLAYERS training!!! so excited!!!;D).

to be continued...

EUROPA! (1st blog)
Wednesday, July 23, 2008

Well, this is my first blog so I am just gonna say what's on my mind right now...

I have actually feel refreshed now after spending the whole week daydreaming about my days in Europe. I felt really down when I had to end my European tour, the tour is sure a really FUN experience. I really love Europe for its food, culture and people. People in most of the countries there are very friendly and kind. Everything seems to be at slower pace and quieter there (The people really look like they're enjoying their life there! Really envy them!!!;d)

My tour consist of staying for 6 days in Hamburg, a day in Rendsburg, 3 days in Paris, 2 days in Lourdes, 3 days in Vienna and a day in Salzburg.

The trip has been fun all along and the country that I enjoy the most is Germany. It is a really great country; the people, the food, the infrastructure, the weather (their summer isn't that hot!) and the SHOPPING area is superb! I enjoy my stay there so much and I think I have learnt some DEUTSCH too! halo, danke, guten morgen, etc...hehehe...;)

Paris has many many many beautiful sceneries. I think now I know why it has become one of the most popular destinations for honey moon! I get to see the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum (I saw the Mona Lisa! remember the Da Vinci Code?!), etc. The buildings are so beautifully sculpted, I don't mind looking at them for the whole day!;) I also visit the shopping area at Champs de Elysees (hopefully I spell it right!;)). They have the designers stores such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, and more others. All these designers are based in Paris. (How cool, right?!OMG! I was so excited when I visited these stores at that time!!!)

Austria is very popular for its musical culture. It is the centre for European music centuries ago and many great composers such as Mozart are from there. Mozart is very popular in Austria. (I went to see Mozart musical concert in Vienna! it was kinda boring cos I'm not a "musical" person but a good experience!;)) I also went to Mozart's birthplace in Salzburg, a tiny but beautiful city outside Vienna. Oh ya! While in Austria, I found some "left-over" items from the Euro 2008 Championships. ( I spotted a "EURO 2008 official car"!!!). Austria was one of the host of this event. I wish I was there when the event takes place but well, as a fan of futball, I am happy since I can still feel the EURO atmosphere just by coming here! ;)

Well, I think I have said a lot already cos my hands are feeling tired.
I hope this is a good start for a blog.
I'll write again later & hopefully I am not abandoning this blog! hehehe...

Peace Out!
